Monty Python's Flying Circus was a British sketch comedy show that aired on BBC televison from October 1969 to December 1974. The group itself, Monty Python, became one of the most influential comedy acts of all-time. Its members were John Cleese, Eric Idle, Terry Jones, Michael Palin, American-born animator Terry Gilliam and Graham Chapman.
